Relief Society Anniversary

Have to leave early as I'm in charge of decorating all the dinner tables and the main table for the relief society display.  It should be a really fun event.

Update On Mom

 Mom was having a little rest.  She asked me to get the snow off her feet.  I told her the snow actually was outside, but pretty soon the weather will be nicer and she can go in the wheel chair and we'll go to the icecream parlor at the lake.   She loves butterscotch or chocolate.  I think this time we will get 2 scoops ...one of each.

Sometimes she smiles and that is so  great.  She smiled here when I told her
I had just made home made carrot soup topped off with sour cream.!

Getting Ready To Decorate At Church For St. Patrick's Day Dinner

Had everything packed in bags to go .....I did a double check and couldn't find the green hat.
Bill  looks pretty darm  guilty hearing me fret cause I couldn't find the hat!!.

I Went To See Mom Early This Morning

I was there at the home right after 8am.  They were just using the lift to get her out of the tub.  When she came out I asked her how she enjoyed her bath.  She said I didn't.  I never enjoy it now as its in and out.  I really don't blame her ....its so nice to relax and soak.   So I fed her,her breakfast.  She did terrific.  She had a large bowl of cereal 3 half slices of toast with jam and a bit of ham, and hot chocolate.  Then she had orange juice and a large glass of milk.  Breakfast for sure is her best meal.  It was great to see her eat.  Usually at lunch and or dinner she eats little.  I braided her hair and put on lipstick and a pretty scarf.  We had a nice little talk.  I told her as soon as the weather gets warm enough we are going down to the lake to get an icecream cone.  It's only a block away so I will push her in her wheel chair. She was quite happy about that.  I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have even a small conversation.  It really does lift one's spirits.

We Had An Unexpected Visitor Join Us On Our Date Night

We were sharing popcorn and enoying a movie when Bill looked out the window to see a raccoon peeking in at us. 

I grabbed my camera but this is the only one that turned out!

We Had A Great Reunion

We are hoping to one day meet his family . What a wonderful missionary!
