Sweet Valentine Dinner

We had our monthly get together at Lilian and Jim's home.  It was a fun get together and the food was delicious.  It was a great way to spend Valentines day.  Dave and Nancy Gilespie were leaving for a cruise the following day.  That next  day we were hit with that terrible flu.  Sure hope they didn't get it for it would no doubt ruin their vacation.

We Have Lots Of Irons In The Fire These Days

Right now we are getting this house cleaned out and in order to get it listed.  We are also listing our land in Owen Sound.  On top of that we are trying to get the members  in Wallaceburg  to put their shoulders to the wheel to get back inactives and bring out new friends to strengthen the ranks here.  Otherwise the threat of shutting down our little branch is looming.  So we are trying  to work like crazy to prepare with faith ourselves and the area, for a Miracle...... if God wills it.

It is so nice to see a reflection of my old self.  The blue on my cheek is where the surgeon marked the points for fat entries.

My prayer is that much of these injections will stay.  I had 30 needles in total  of tranferred fat from my stomach to my cheek.  Dr. Matic froze the outside but said if we do the middle section with no freezing that will make the long term results better.  I told him to go for it.  Good thing I have a high pain tolerance as I felt every one. Although , because of my high radiation treatments I had in 05, they don't have high hopes for a good retention but I'm leaning on my Heavenly Surgeon for extra help.  Wonderful though to look kind of normal again!!

What A Sweet Picture

This was just last September.  Heather looks great.  I out of habit pick up the phone to call and then I hear the answering machine" Pete and Heather aren't here right now but we'll get back to ya....soon as we can".  So sweet to hear her voice.  Looking forward to that great reunion when we can share our experiences from both sides of the veil.

Now Doesn't This Make The Winter Blues Disappear

 Spring is coming....I Hope!!    It has been overcast here all week and I don't think we would have noticed anyways as we were both horrizontal .  A flu bug hit Wallaceburg and we thought we were dying. Five families got so terribly sick.  One family member ended up in the hospital.  This is the worst flu..I have ever experienced.
