It is so nice to see a reflection of my old self. The blue on my cheek is where the surgeon marked the points for fat entries.
My prayer is that much of these injections will stay. I had 30 needles in total of tranferred fat from my stomach to my cheek. Dr. Matic froze the outside but said if we do the middle section with no freezing that will make the long term results better. I told him to go for it. Good thing I have a high pain tolerance as I felt every one. Although , because of my high radiation treatments I had in 05, they don't have high hopes for a good retention but I'm leaning on my Heavenly Surgeon for extra help. Wonderful though to look kind of normal again!!
